We provide various services to meet your children where they are…

Our services

  • Assessment

The assessment will be conducted by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Immediately after authorization from your insurance provider. Utilizing research-based assessment tools, the BCBA will observe and assess your child’s communication skills, social skills, and repetitive/restrictive behaviors.

Results of assessment: The BCBA will make recommendations for therapy hours based on clinical findings and submit a report for authorization to your insurance company. Individualized treatment plans will include long and short term goals and if needed a behavior intervention plan which will address problem behaviors.

  • Direct Care

Under the supervision and guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) will come to your home, school, or desired location and start individual therapy with your child. The goals will be based on the information gained during the initial assessment. Programs will be delivered one-to-one in a playful way. Some of the goals your child may be working on may include communication, daily living skills, socialization, academics, self-regulation, attention, functional skills, and independence.

A BCBA will directly supervise the RBT providing therapy a minimum of 1 hour for every 10 hours of direct care. The RBT will collect data on your child’s progress in each session. This data is used to determine if teaching strategies and interventions are actually working. Collecting and reviewing data helps us to ensure that we are meeting this standard.

  • Parent & Family Support

Your assigned BCBA will work weekly with your family to review the new skills your child has learned and teach your family how to generalize these skills into daily living. The BCBA will be able to work with families on separate goals they may have such as appropriately attending gatherings, events, or even family outings. We will be able to educate and empower parents with the strategies and tools needed so they can properly implement the correct response to their child’s behaviors and needs.

ABA services are built into the child’s/family’s daily schedule. It is not a single appointment, but a process of teaching new skills and addressing problem behaviors to improve the quality of life for your child and the family as a whole.

Locations we can provide services

  • Home Setting

“Home is where the heart is” - Pliny the Elder

For most children, nothing feels as safe as the security of home. We will bring our family to your family. We will be able to provide skill building, support, and convenience in the comfort of your own home. In addition to traditional goals, we will be able to add daily living goals to your child's program. This could include things such as eating, sleeping, personal hygiene, chores and more

  • Community Setting

Your child will be able to navigate your community with their RBT by their side. They will be helped to achieve goals such as learning how to travel by bus, train or car, or things such as going on field trips, family outings, parties, and/or events. We could help your child learn how to act in a library setting, a playground, public restroom, or place of worship. We even could teach your child how to shop from a shopping list, pay the cashier and collect change, and pack groceries appropriately.

  • Virtual / Telehealth

There is no distance that will keep us from providing services. If you live too far away from any of our BCBAs to work directly with your child in your home or community, or if you are not able to have outside people come into your home, we are able to provide you with virtual services.

How does this work? If distance of the BCBA is the issue, we will send an RBT to your home to do hands on services with your child while a BCBA supervises the session through live, HIPPA-compliant, video connection. In situations where outsiders cannot come into your home, both the RBT and BCBA will provide sessions remotely. The BCBA will provide you, as well as your child’s team, information on the guidelines for effective virtual therapy.

  • School Settings

Not always is it possible to provide services to your child before or after school/daycare. That is why our team will be able to partner up with your child’s school/daycare to create an effective program that incorporates our programs within their programs. Our team will collaborate with the school/daycare and will be able to create a plan that integrates appropriate socialization, and decreases challenging behaviors in an academic setting.
